The bears go out for a walk while their porridge cools. Meanwhile, Goldielocks, having frustrated Oswald the Lucky Rabbit's attempts to spruce up his house, wanders off, breaks into the bear's home, eats their food, destroys their furniture, and makes herself at home.

There's an essentially middle-class sensibility that lurks behind the Goldilocks fairy tale in which she is a burglar who terrifies the innocent bears, but gets away with it because she's cute. Walter Lantz takes this attitude and does a nice job of it, although why Oswald has to suffer for her sins is beyond me.
