        Amitabh Bachchan noticed 'Daler Mehendi' at a wedding and was very impressed with his vocals he felt he should sing for his own film. The next day Amitabh rang Daler and Daler recorded the song the very next day when the film was already 90-95% complete. Amitabh called it 'a last minute song'.

        Ram Prasad Ghayal was framed for the murder of Raja but escaped from prison to take revenge on his enemies and therefore he's on the run. In theory his medical licence should be revoked. But when he bumps into Dr Siddiqui and chases him, he's in his doctor's attire, as if he is carrying on medical practice.
      • Alternate versions
        The CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) removed all references of "Seva Dal", photograph of Indira Gandhi on the walls which suggests a particular party and doctor drinking to gain an 'A' (restricted to adults) certificate. It remained cut since.
