Dennis the Menace

According to Christopher Lloyd, after filming the scene where his character spears Gunther's apple with a knife and eats it, Hank Johnston, the young actor playing the role, was so frightened of Lloyd that he wouldn't approach him afterwards on the set.

When Margaret cries about Dennis being lost, she holds the doll that was stolen from her earlier and which she has somehow reacquired before the thief's apprehension. This is due to a deleted scene (retained in the tie-in movie storybook) where Switchblade Sam visits her, Dennis and Joey at the redecorated treehouse, giving them candy (and her doll back) in exchange for information about their houses' valuables. Dennis also lets slip about Mr. Wilson's gold coins and his bookshelf safe, hence Sam knowing to look there in the final cut, though how Dennis didn't initially figure out that Sam stole them is another question.

During the end credits, there is an additional scene with Dennis at Alice's workplace, who was forced to take him with her to work following the aftermath of Mr. Wilson getting hit in the forehead with a burnt marshmallow, and tries to help Andrea make copies of documents, only to wind up getting her face onto the copying scanner when her necklace gets caught in the machine and Dennis runs off in fear and alerting many of the other office workers.

The DVD plastered the closing Warner Bros. logo with the 2001 variant.
