      Originally the movie suppose to be called "Das verrückte Strandhotel" (The crazy beach hotel) but it wasn't successful at the box office with about 100 000 visitors. Therfore after a few weeks the title was renamed to "Dirndljagd am Kilimandscharo" (Dirndl hunt at Kilimandcharo) which turned the movie to a success with over a million of tickets. This is why in the opening credits both titles are visible.

      The aircraft to Kenya that is shown is a Condor machine. However the aircraft at the airport is a "Kenya Airways" machine.
