The Kallikaks are selected to be a TV surveying family which is fine with everyone. Problems arise however when a sponsor tries to get them to watch his programs. J.T. tries to figure out a way to make money from the situation.
After seeing the movie Rocky J.T. thinks he can make money turning Oscar into a boxer. Things go fine until mobsters decide to get involve and take a cut of any cash won.
When his uncle dies J.T. wonders if he is in line for an inheritance. Unable to wait for official notification he decides to to hire a fortune teller Dr. Walla, not knowing the man is a con artist.
