Detective Gerald Gordon is compelled to assemble a special team of investigators consisting of ex-cons on parole as a means to solve serious crimes which are contributing to the city's escalating problem with vigilante activity.

It's 'The Dirty Dozen' lite with Roy Jenson, Bill Lucking, Jim Hampton and Nick Parsons each recruited for their unique skills, assigned the case of a serious assault on a pro basketball player.

Norman Burton plays the basketball team owner, Leif Erickson is the injured player's father out for revenge, and Bradford Dillman a corrupt developer looking to cash-in on the team's subsequent woes. Good also to see pretty Belinda Balaski in one of her earliest roles playing the hustler whom Parsons charms for information and whilst he's uncredited there's no mistaking Len Lesser in the barber's chair receiving a nervously close shave from Jenson whose looking a lead.

A few decent stunts, shootouts, punch-ups and PG rated antics equals nothing over which to get too excited in this predictable, busted TV pilot.
