      The island used as the filming location for the Scaramanga's beach house (Phang Nga Bay, Thailand) is known as "James Bond Island". The first map used to show Bond its location based on the tracker signal shows it to be approximately 200 miles due north of Taiwan where it is said to be. The second more detailed map, although being labelled as "China," does in fact show Phang Nga Bay and the island's true filming location is marked correctly.

      During the fight in Beirut a bumped mirror shows a camera man, someone standing over the camera, and studio lighting. (This is noted in the commentary on the re-release DVD. It could have been corrected when the film was remastered, but they decided to leave it in.)

The Dolby Digital 5.1 mix on the UE adds a smaller amount of reverb, but still cuts the music off as Bond fires.
