Crazy credits
Movie opens facing a man running a movie projector, as if the audience were looking back at him from the screen, credits rolling. A nurse comes in and tells the man that the doctor has told him watching such a movie was bad for him, the movie, in this instance, as seen by the audience as well, being "I Dismember Mama."

Alternate versions
The film was unreleased in the UK until 1986. It was then issued on video as "Crazed" and cut by over 5 minutes by the BBFC with heavy edits to the scene where the maid is forced to strip at knifepoint, and later flashbacks to the same sequence.
