A monkey has tired of the circus life and escaped. She peeks into the brothers' bakery just as a customer is about to buy a cake.

The monkey Saba helps the brothers in the bakery. One day people in uniform come and take the monkey away. But Hilding follows them.

The monkey bakes cakes on a conveyor belt and learns to play the accordion. But she leaves the bakery when she meets an old friend.

Hilding is sad. No matter how hard Janos and Frasse try, Hilding doesn't want to be happy again. Not until a little accident happens.

Janos is going out to deliver a cake. But first he has to teach Frasse to run the shop. Frasse does the best he can.

A piano has gone wrong. Janos is going to play and sing, but gets a sore throat. Frasse goes to the pharmacy to buy pills.

A vacuum cleaner salesman comes to the bakery. He demonstrates his fine apparatus to the brothers. But something goes wrong.

When they go to buy buns, they get a whole bakery.

Life in the bakery goes on. The brothers have become accustomed bakers, but even the best can forget the oven.

Frasse has overslept in the bakery and surprises his brothers with a giant cake. But what about the ingredients.

Things go very wrong when Mrs. Svensson is looking to buy a cake, but another customer buys it right in front of her. When they both return for a new one, the customer's clothes get very messy and stuck in dough - but they boys are ready to clean him up.

Hilding insists on baking a cake out of the most expensive ingredients, meaning only the richest of the rich will be able to buy it. This doesn't appear to be a problem when a rich maharajah arrives and is interested in the cake. However, since he hides a diamond in it, someone else becomes interested in him and the cake too. Janos even gets kidnapped while on his way to deliver the cake, but Frasse comes to the rescue.

A health inspector comes to the bakery and finds a lot that isn't supposed to be there, both vermin and bigger animals. This leads to him closing down the bakery and the three brothers see no other choice than to go back to being sailors again.
