One Hundred and One Dalmatians

The birth of the puppies actually happened to the author Dodie Smith. Her dalmatians had 15 puppies, one was born lifeless and her husband revived it. However, they sold most of them, and kept only a small number.

In the 1992 Walt Disney Classics VHS release, the movie opens with the 1990 Walt Disney Pictures logo, but the film's original Buena Vista logo was moved to the end of the movie instead with the announcer saying, "Stay tuned for a preview of two new Disney classics", then followed by two bumpers, "Coming To Home Video" and "Coming On Videocassette This Summer". In the 1999 Walt Disney Masterpiece Collection VHS and Laserdisc and 1999 Limited Issue DVD releases, the film's original Buena Vista logo was moved back to the beginning of the movie after the 1990 Walt Disney Pictures logo. the film's original Buena Vista logo fanfare is restored. In the 2008 Platinum Edition release the movie opens with the current 2006 Walt Disney Pictures logo, followed by the film's original Buena Vista logo. In the 2015 Diamond Edition and 2019 Signature Collection releases, the current 2006 Walt Disney Pictures logo isn't used at all. It only opens with the film's original Buena Vista logo and the 2011 variant of the current 2006 Walt Disney Pictures logo only appears at the end of the movie.
