The George Raft Story

Jayne Mansfield's character is based on George Raft's relationship with Betty Grable.

The film opens with a title card that reads "New York in the late 1920's", then proceeds to show scenes of the city with 1950's-era cars driving about and buildings that had not been built yet in the montage.
