First of all, the script just isn't funny. It gives a half hearted try. Secondly, the direction and timing is off.

With the exception of Peggy Cummins the acting is atrocious. It seems as though she is acting along cardboard cut outs.

One can't help but wonder if this string of terrible comedies is what killed her career. She didn't work much after this.
