      The opening scene, in which a car drives past the construction site and the bag containing Pussyfoot is tossed in the trash, has been cut from all TV airings and official VHS/DVD releases since the mid-1980s.

      In the sequence where Pussyfoot wakes up on the I-beam (being lifted by the crane), when Marc Anthony grabs it and holds on, the I-beam would have become heavier on Marc Anthony's end and tilted, since only one loop of rope was holding it at its original balance point. Also, since the loop of rope around the I-beam was not tight, the I-beam, with Marc Anthony, would have fallen out.
    • Alternate versions
      Both the 1986 video compilation "Elmer Fudd's Comedy Capers", as well as the fourth installment of the "Looney Tunes Golden Collection" DVD line, released in 2006, omit a segment from the opening scene where the driver of a car throws the kitten (in a sack) into the construction site. In this version we simply see Pussyfoot emerging from the trash can.
