Jungle Jim

[a "gorilla" has strangled Game Warden Bentley in his bed]
Jungle Jim: Oh, Jim... Uncle Frank - he's dead!
Prof. Brandt: The gorilla - did you catch him?
Jungle Jim: No, but I will.
Prof. Brandt: How did he get away?
Jungle Jim: He turned that leopard loose on me. It was pretty smart... for a gorilla.

[Brant has just shot Gibbs when he "attempted to escape"]
Barbara Bentley: Jim, doesn't this, well, doesn't this prove you were wrong about him?
Jungle Jim: It might. It might also prove that I'm right.

[Jim, Nyobi and Barbara are securely bound hand and foot in Brandt's cave]
Prof. Brandt: It's no use, Jungle Jim. It will take you hours to get loose that way and I don't think you're gonna have that much time.
Nyobi: If you're going to kill us, do it now and get it over with.
Prof. Brandt: Really, Nyobi, aren't you being a little melodramatic?
Barbara Bentley: Aren't you with your strutting and gloating?
Prof. Brandt: All right, Jim, it's your turn. What have you got to say?
Jungle Jim: There's just one thing... Brandt, I'm going to kill you.

Prof. Brandt: This looks like quite an expedition. You mind if I go along?
Jungle Jim: No, I think it would be a good idea. There's only one thing, Brandt...
Prof. Brandt: Well, what's that?
Jungle Jim: If we do catch a gorilla man, try not to shoot him.

[Jungle Jim's manhunt stumbles upon a tiger mauling a lion in a fight to the death]
Prof. Brandt: I thought the lion was the King of the Jungle.
Jungle Jim: That's storybook stuff. The tiger's by far the best fighter.
Prof. Brandt: I didn't know that.
Jungle Jim: You should. You're a zoologist, aren't you?

[last lines]
Barbara Bentley: The rangers will escort you back to Shalakari, Nyobi.
Jungle Jim: And try not to get lost again!
Nyobi: I won't, Mister Jim, and thanks.
[Skipper, Jim's dog, appears, contentedly smoking a cigar, causing Jim, Barbara, Nyobi and the rangers to laugh]
