      • Narrator: The murder of Doctor Elton Parkson was one of the most baffling in police history, for the clues they found had little meaning and no apparent connection to each other: desk drawers strung out in a line in the center of the office, their contents untouched; the strangled victim found locked in a closet. Because of the nature of these clues, Lieutenant Pat McKay from the homicide detail enlisted the aid of Doctor Everett Colner, police psychiatrist. Colner felt that, because the victim was a doctor, the killer might be found among his patients. So with the aid of Jean Smith, the slain doctor's nurse, he carefully examined Parkson's files for psychiatric clues.
