    • Trivia
On October 17, 1925, The World Premiere of "What Happened to Jones" was presented as the Opening Night feature at the Rialto Theatre in South Pasadena. Searchlights were brought over from Hollywood. Roy Metcalfe, concert organist for the Raymond Theater brought the Wurlitzer to life. And The Rialto Orchestra under the leadership of Rhuel Eno Moulton provided musical accompaniment for the "five snappy acts" of vaudeville and film "What Happened to Jones", starring Reginald Denny. The featured movie star and director came to the show. And the house was packed for opening night... the Rialto Theatre's debut.
