      When the Sheriff has the drop on Buck, Buck suggests they do the "makins" and pulls out his tobacco pouch. The Sheriff goes to do the same but momentarily takes his eyes off Buck. Buck quickly snatches the rifle from the lawman's arms and then reaches for the pistol that had been shown to be stuck in his belt. But Buck is grabbing inside his vest around chest level, which would have been too high to grab the pistol handle which had been shown to be just above Buck's waist.
