Nathan Fillion was born on 27 March 1971 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He is the son of Cookie (Early) and Bob Fillion, both retired English teachers, and has an older brother, Jeff. His father is of French-Canadian descent, and his mother is of English, German, Finnish, and Norwegian ancestry. In Canada, he attended Holy Trinity Catholic High School, Concordia University College of Alberta and University of Alberta. Before moving to New York City in 1994, he participated in improv theatre, including Theatresports with Rapid Fire Theatre and improvised soap opera Die-Nasty. He also appeared in a TV Movie Ordeal in the Arctic (1993) starring Richard Chamberlain and in Strange and Rich (1994).

Fillion's first regular role was on a daytime soap opera, One Life to Live (1968), as Joey Buchanan, for which role he was nominated in 1996 for a Daytime Emmy Award. He left the series after three years in 1997. During the late 1990's, he appeared in small roles in the films Saving Private Ryan (1998) and Blast from the Past (1999). Fillion also guest starred on Das Bootie (1997), Mama's Got a Brand New Bag (1998) and Starcrossed (1999). His biggest break by then happened in 1998, when he was cast as Johnny Donnelly on the 2nd season of Two Guys and a Girl (1998) opposite Traylor Howard, Ryan Reynolds, Richard Ruccolo and Suzanne Cryer. After "Two Guys" ended in 2001, Fillion gained critical acclaim and a large cult of fans when he starred as Captain Malcolm Reynolds on the Joss Whedon's Firefly (2002). Unfortunately the show was prematurely canceled in late 2002. He also guest starred on several episodes of two short lived TV shows, Pasadena (2001), as Rev. Glenn Collins and Miss Match (2003), as Adam Logan. In 2003, Whedon gave Fillion another chance to display his range when he cast Fillion as the twisted preacher Caleb, a villain, in the final season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997). Before and after "Firefly", Fillion appeared in many movies, Dracula 2000 (2000), Alligator Point (2003), Water's Edge (2003), If Dad Only Knew (2004) and Hollywood Division (2004).

Whedon vowed to resurrect "Firefly" in some way, and Fillion played Captain Reynolds again in the feature-film Serenity (2005). Fillion followed this film with more big screen leading roles, in the horror-comedy Slither (2006), in White Noise 2: The Light (2007), in the indie hit Waitress (2007) opposite Keri Russell and in Trucker (2008). He also continued to be a force in television, starring in the short-lived Fox-TV series Drive (2007) and appearing on a recurring role as Dr. Adam Mayfair on the 4th season of ABC's Desperate Housewives (2004), opposite Dana Delany. He also appeared on I Do (2006) and was a voice actor on many video games (e.g. Halo 3 (2007)).

In 2008, he took his first singing part (and cemented his cult appeal) as Captain Hammer in Whedon's musical Internet smash Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog (2008), with Neil Patrick Harris, Felicia Day and Simon Helberg. In 2009, he was cast as the title character Richard Castle in ABC's hit television series, Castle (2009). The show has aired more than 160 episodes and Nathan Fillion has won four People's Choice Awards for Favorite Dramatic TV Actor, as of 2016. In 2018, Fillion took the starring role in The Rookie (2018) as John Nolan, a contractor who starts over as a rookie police officer in the LAPD after a life-altering event. Besides starring on "Castle", he has appeared in many movies, in Super (2010) as The Holy Avenger, in Joss Whedon's Much Ado About Nothing (2012) as Dogberry, the incompetent chief of security, in Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters (2013) as Hermes and in Thrilling Adventure Hour Live (2015).

He also voices the lead, Shojun in the animated movie, Yamasong: March of the Hollows (2017). He has also continued voicing characters in video games, such as in Destiny (2014) and in Halo 5: Guardians (2015).

He has also guest starred on The Daly Superheroes (2012) as himself, on Community (2009) as Bob Waite, on The Comic Book Store Regeneration (2015) as himself, on Twins (2015) as Mountie McMinniman, on Con Man (2015) as Jack Moore and on Space (2015) as Wernher Von Braun. He also narrated the documentary, Highway of Tears (2015).

Michael J. Fox was born Michael Andrew Fox on June 9, 1961 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, to Phyllis Fox (née Piper), a payroll clerk, and William Fox. She achieved high levels of track and field, equestrian show jumping and is also a certified snowboard instructor. Monique was involved in diving, gymnastics, softball, figure skating, equestrian and later various Martial Arts. Monique has always been an avid writer and artist and thought about going into journalism prior to performing.

Monique was discovered at a local shopping mall in Edmonton by a modeling agent and agreed to give it a try. Monique relocated to Toronto and began taking acting classes and working as a background performer to learn about film-making. Monique booked her first acting role on TV show Mutant X, which also happened to require a stunt. She was seen as a natural athlete and the stunt coordinators encouraged her to also train to become a stunt performer.

Monique continued to audition and she pursued stunt work adamantly. She landed her first Stunt gig on feature film, "The Recruit". Monique then packed up for the west coast to reunite with family, friends and her love of nature. She booked Stunt roles on Irobot, Xmen 3, Tron, and many other notable films and TV shows. Monique later moved to California to pursue an international career. She proceeded to win stunt awards performing as Charlize Theron's stunt double in Atomic Blonde. This feature also gave Monique her first Stunt coordinating credit. She then went on to Stunt Coordinate Avengers Infinity war and Endgame making her the first female stunt coordinator for Marvel Studios.

Monique supports many charities Dirty Dog Squad, Mustang heritage foundation, Wild Horse Preservation campaign, Wild Horse Freedom Federation, Wild Horses In Need , Southern Conservation Trust and in Canada Alzheimer's society of Alberta, BC Cancer foundation and Wild Horses of Alberta Society. Monique most recently was a part of the Georgia wild mustang TIP training program where she gentled two wild mustangs in Georgia, USA.

Olivia Cheng is a dynamic actress and activist from Edmonton, Alberta, the daughter of working-class Cantonese-speaking immigrant parents. It was they who helped co-found the Edmonton Chinese Bilingual Education Association's Mandarin program within the city's public school system to which Olivia credits for her ability to speak Mandarin and instilling in her a reverence for her culture.

She enrolled in her first acting class at age six, and at age 19 she booked her first local commercial. After high school, Olivia attended the University of Alberta where she earned a scholarship and early admittance to its commerce program. Unhappy in university, she enrolled at NAIT's Radio and Television Arts program the following year, which would lead her to a successful media career. After finishing school, she became a videographer for Global TV Lethbridge, before moving back to Edmonton to work as a broadcast and print journalist.

At the height of her journalism career, AMC was launching its original content division and came to Alberta with a Walter Hill-directed miniseries executive produced by Robert Duvall. They were looking for five Chinese actresses, but were willing to look at non-professionals as well. Duvall saw Olivia's audition and asked to bring her back. She was then cast in "Broken Trail", which was nominated for 16 Primetime Emmy Awards and would go on to win four, including the Emmy for Outstanding Miniseries. "Broken Trail" gave Olivia the push she needed; she moved to Vancouver and worked as a stringer correspondent for ET Canada, while she pursued her acting career full time.

Miranda Frigon is a Canadian actress and singer/songwriter. Born in Edmonton, Alberta, she began her acting career at age 8 by appearing in many television commercials. Her childhood and adolescence revolved around competitive gymnastics, ballet, and classical piano, so performing was a huge part of her life from an early age. Shortly after, Miranda received a scholarship to the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City where she trained in musical theater before landing her first recurring television role on the Disney series "Honey, I Shrunk The Kids." This brought her back to Canada to where she began working and building her film, television and music career. After moving and settling into Vancouver, B.C. she immediately began booking numerous guest stars on hit network U.S. shows such as "The 4400", "Higher Ground", "The Chris Isaak Show", "John Doe", "True Calling", and "The Dead Zone." In her spare time she was writing music and playing live with her band in venues in and around Vancouver. She then landed a 13-episode run on UPN's "Jake 2.0" and the producers also placed two of her original songs in the series. This kicked off Miranda's music career of placing her songs in film and television.

In addition to her numerous feature and indie film credits, her most notable pasts TV roles include guest stars on hit shows such as "Bones", "Ugly Betty", "Dexter", "The New Adventures of Old Christine", "V", "Motive", "Supernatural", and "The Magicians".

Miranda was nominated for a Canadian Leo Award in 2013 for her leading role on Syfy's "Primeval: New World", was recurring for 5 seasons on the hit drama "Heartland" and is now most recognized for her leading role on Hallmark's "Aurora Teagarden Mysteries" alongside Candace Cameron and Marilu Henner, which films in Vancouver, B.C. She was nominated for a Canadian Leo award again in 2015 for her role in this series.

Miranda's original song "Hiding Place" was used in episode 5 of Syfy's "Primeval New World" and it unleashed a worldwide fan base for her music. Since, her original songs have been placed in television series, Indie and feature films by Fox, Paramount, The CW, NBC, UPN, CBC, Space, Syfy, Hallmark, Lifetime. Her placements have gotten her worldwide exposure and attracted new fans from all over the globe. Miranda just released her new Kickstarter fan-funded album "First" in 2017 which can be found on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, and any additional online stores.

In addition to all of her creative and athletic talents, Miranda is also a skilled Mixed Martial Artist. She has been trained in Boxing and Thai Kickboxing for over 10 years.

Melody Anderson was born on 3 December 1955 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She is an actress and manager, known for Flash Gordon (1980), Firewalker (1986) and Dead & Buried (1981).

Kira Guloien was raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, where she trained as a competitive singer and dancer from an early age. Her mother enjoyed a fifty year career as a double bassist in The Edmonton Symphony Orchestra and her father is a Juno Award winning Jazz Saxophonist and member of The Order of Canada. At 16, Kira was selected from a countrywide audition as a top 12 finalist on CBC TV's inaugural season of Triple Sensation. Hand picked by a celebrity panel including Garth Drabinsky, Marvin Hamlisch, Sergio Trujillo, Adrian Noble and Cynthia Dale, Kira was given the incredible opportunity to work with some of the world's finest coaches and artists, including Chita Rivera and Joel Grey, in a month-long master class in Toronto. After graduating from high school, Kira returned to Toronto to study acting at Ryerson Theatre School. She began to work professionally while she was still a student, most notably starring in Hometown at the Blyth Festival. Within weeks of completing her degree, Kira was honored to play the title role in the world premiere of Judith Thompson's Elektra in Bosnia at the foot of the Acropolis in Athens, Greece. In the spring of 2013, Kira began rehearsing for one of her dream jobs with Canada's leading theatrical institution, The Stratford Festival. Starring as Mrs. Walker in Tommy, she worked under the direction of the entire original Broadway creative team, including multi Tony award winning director Des McAnuff and The Who's legendary guitarist and composer, Pete Townshend. Kira received rave reviews for her performance as Tommy's mother and was described as a "masterpiece of tortured sensuality" by Toronto Star critic Richard Ouzounian. In 2015, Kira made her Broadway debut in the original Broadway cast of Doctor Zhivago- The Musical at The Broadway Theatre. Kira has since enjoyed a diverse career, spanning from musicals, to film, television and the concert stage. She was in the Pre-Broadway production of Hadestown, which went on to win eight Tony Awards, including Best New Musical, Garth Drabinski's Sousatzka, starring Tony winners Victoria Clark and Judy Kaye and Theatre Calgary's The Louder We Get, directed by Emmy Award winner Lonny Price. Other highlights include: Ghost Quartet (Crow's Theatre & Eclipse), Grey Gardens (Musical Stage Co), Dr. Silver: A Celebration of Life (Musical Stage Co & Outside the March), Hello Again (Artillery Collective), Nine (Podium Concert Productions), Marathon of Hope (Drayton Entertainment), Smokey Joe's Cafe (Drayton Entertainment), Damn Yankees (Drayton Entertainment), Jacob Two-Two (YPT), City of Angels (Theatre by the Bay). Her film and television credits include Jupiter's Legacy (Netflix), Murdoch Mysteries (CBC), Coroner (CBC), Glass Houses (The Movie Network), The Listener (CTV), A Northern Song (Forever Epic Films), Night Cries (Good Soldier Films). Kira was nominated for a Dora Award for Outstanding Performance in a Musical and is the recipient of the Toronto Theatre Critics Awards for Best Ensemble for 2019 & 2020, a My Entertainment World Award for Best Actress in a Musical, The Jean Chalmers Guthrie Award and The Lou Taube Memorial Award. She has performed in some of Canada's finest concert halls, including Koerner Hall, where she has shared the stage with musical theatre legend Colm Wilkinson and Des McAnuff, as well as The Winspear Center where she was guest soloist with The Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Steven Reineke of The New York Pops. She is a two time guest soloist at New York's legendary supper club, Feinstein's/54 Below.
