'Ramayana' Gets Worldwide Distribution Through Sony 
Ramayana, the most highly anticipated Indian film of 2026 is getting worldwide distribution from Sony Pictures, it was announced at San Diego Comic-Con this weekend.
Prime Focus Studios' Namit Malhotra told the Ballroom 20 crowd that this is the hardest production his company has ever undertaken and that now was the time to make this story because of the ambitious effects and technical requirements necessary to tell such an epic story.
Ramayana stars Ranbir Kapoor as Ram and Yash as Ravana and is directed by Nitesh Tiwari, with a score by A.R. Rahman and Hans Zimmer.
Ramayana is expected in theaters this November.
