Biography

Alexia Jasmene is an LA based trans actor/musician/comedian/poet. She has lived in Chicago and Guangzhou, China, and performed consistently across both cities and around the country. She plays courageously vulnerable women, both cisgender and transgender, aged 18-35 on stage and on screen. Her most recent work can be heard as the English voice of Valeria on the HBOMax Spanish TV show Veneno about the real life trans woman of the same name. Her musical style is a mix of folk, pop, jazz, and rock. Through her storytelling, poetry, music, and comedy, she hopes to open hearts and minds in order for people to deepen their understanding of trans people as people and our shared humanity.
