Ellie-Mae Siame is an Irish-Zambian actress based in the UK. She is represented by Charlene McManus at Curtis Brown Group for Acting and Kay at Little Soho Voices for Voice Work.
She has a younger brother Jake Siame and sister Liliana Siame who are also actors.
Ellie-Mae made her acting debut at just five years old as a main cast member, playing Maudie in the Sky Original feature film FOUR KIDS AND IT, opposite Mathew Goode and Paula Patton, it’s an adaptation of Jacqueline Wilson's bestselling novel
She went on to portray Joy in the live-action series THROUGH THE FAIRY DOOR, a WildBrain/DHX Media production on YouTube, based on the award-winning Irish Fairy Door toy line.
At age eight, Ellie-Mae played Flynn, a principal character in MODERN LOVE Season 2, Episode 8, starring alongside Oscar nominee Sophie Okonedo and BAFTA nominee Tobias Menzies. Modern Love is an anthology series inspired by the New York Times column of the same name.
She later appeared alongside her brother Jake in HIS DARK MATERIALS Season 3 (BBC/HBO), based on The Amber Spyglass by Philip Pullman. Ellie-Mae played Ghost Sophie, the sister of Jake's character, Ghost Simon.
Ellie-Mae starred as the title character in the short film MY WEEK WITH MAISY, alongside Dame Joanna Lumley. Written by Mark Oxtoby and directed by Mika Simmons, the film is currently on a national and international festival run. Ellie-Mae's performance earned her the "One to Watch" award at the BIFA-qualifying Unrestricted View Film Festival and the "Young Performance" award at the BIFA-qualifying Brighton Rocks International Film Festival.
She made her West End debut in July 2022 in THE DRIFTERS GIRL at the Garrick Theatre, playing Tina Treadwell, the daughter of Faye Treadwell (played by Beverley Knight), manager of the iconic vocal group, The Drifters.
In March 2023, Ellie-Mae played a leading role as Georgina Mbanefo in TROUBLE IN BUTETOWN at the Donmar Warehouse, alongside Sarah Parish. Set in multicultural Cardiff, the play explores the lives of residents navigating identity, belonging, and the challenges of living in a marginalised community during wartime.
Ellie-Mae appeared as series regular Maisy in the highly anticipated GENERATION Z, a British comedy-horror series created and directed by Ben Wheatley, which was released on Channel 4 in October 2024 and features an ensemble cast.
She filmed PHEASANT, a new WWII short drama, taking on the lead role of Martha, a young mixed-race evacuee. The story explores powerful themes of displacement, paranoia, and childhood innocence in wartime Britain. Written by Claire Molloy and Anna Moore, and directed by Claire Molloy, it’s set to start its festival run very soon.
Ellie-Mae Voices Bandage in the horror Video Game REANIMAL, developed by Tarsier Studios and published by THQ Nordic. The story follows a brother and sister duo, as they survive a flooded, hellish version of their home island, which has become inhabited by hostile creatures, while attempting to save their three friends. Ellie-Mae voices a series regular character in a well known animated series that is due for release later this year. She also voices a guest lead in another animated series that is due to release in the summer 2027
