Joel Celaya(I)

Joel Celaya was born in Mexico City to a then-CGI animator and a housewife. Ever since he was of young age, he was deeply interested in films and TV, spending hours watching interviews with actors and behind the scenes documentaries with his father. He attended UNAM (National Autonomous University of Mexico) and graduated in Theater and Dramatic Literature. In 2019 he got a scholarship from the Art of Acting Studio in West Hollywood, where he attended to for almost 3 years and got his Professional Conservatory certificate. With more than 20 independent short films (some of them award winners), a couple TV pilots and a recurring role in a web series sitcom on his resume, this Mexican actor feels at home on any set and on any stage, the place where he can display his singing, gymnastics and stage combat training the best. Never just an ordinary man.
