Marcela Alvarenga

Marcela Alvarenga is a Brazilian assistant director known for her work on acclaimed productions such as The Last Blue (2025), winner of the Silver Bear at the 75th Berlinale, and Netflix originals like 3%, Spectros, and Elize Matsunaga: Once Upon a Crime. With a career spanning over a decade, she has contributed to a wide range of feature films, TV series, and international advertising campaigns. Marcela holds a Master's degree in Aesthetics and Artistic Studies from Universidade Nova de Lisboa and a degree in Social Sciences from the University of São Paulo. She is fluent in English and Portuguese and is based in São Paulo.
