Josh Tysver

Joshua Tysver grew up in rural Minnesota as one of seven siblings, spending his early childhood on a farm in Elizabeth before moving to Battle Lake. There, he attended Battle Lake High School, excelling in academics, athletics, and Golden Gloves boxing. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Management Engineering from North Dakota State University.
Joshua is passionate about process improvement, focusing on reducing cycle times, increasing yields, and enhancing ergonomics through automation. Since 2007, he has worked in the electronics manufacturing industry and is known for his hands-on leadership and technical innovation.
Though he first explored theater in elementary school, Joshua returned to acting years later by chance after a local waitress encouraged him to audition for a film being shot in Fergus Falls. He landed a role in the film Sacred, and has since appeared in The Circle and an upcoming feature backed by producers involved in Men in Black. That film is slated for release in summer 2025.
Outside of work and acting, Joshua enjoys the outdoors and has completed over 20 marathons and ultra-marathons. A dedicated musician, he plays guitar and piano-mostly around bonfires and family gatherings-and has served as a worship leader at his father's church. He resides in Fergus Falls and is the proud father of two children.
