- In 2010, the author and screenwriter published his first novel, Zoo col semaforo (Nutrimenti), which was a finalist for the Flaiano Prize and the Fante Prize. That year he was also named among the best writers under 40 by Il Sole 24 Ore.
In 2013 he published his second novel, La Terra del Sacerdote (Neri Pozza), which was a finalist for the Zocca Prize and the Strega Prize in 2014.
In 2014 he published, with Marco Marsullo, Dio si è fermato a Buenos Aires (Laterza).
As a screenwriter, he has written for the TV series The Sea Beyond, Vostro Onore, and Doc - Nelle tue mani for Rai.
For Sky, he has written for the series Blocco 181 and Piedone.
For Netflix, he has written for The Law According to Lidia Poët.
Lastly, he is the head writer for the Prime Video series No Activity - Niente da segnalare.
His next novel, L'invasione, is set to be published by Fandango in 2024.
