Biography

Ava Salazar is a bilingual Spanish-English actress, singer, and dancer whose artistic journey has been shaped by a life surrounded by cinema and creativity. The daughter of acclaimed actress and director Paz Vega, Ava comes from a family deeply rooted in film and the arts, which naturally inspired her passion for storytelling and performance from an early age.

Ava made her on-screen debut in the hit Spanish series Paquita Salas (2016, 2019), created and directed by Los Javis, one of the most influential creative duos in contemporary Spanish television. She later appeared in the feature film La Casa del Caracol (2021), alongside Javier Rey and Paz Vega. Most recently, she starred as one of the lead characters in the Disney series Campamento Newton, filmed in Tenerife.

In addition to her acting career, Ava was one of the global faces of ZARA in 2020, representing the brand in international campaigns.

Her artistic training began at an early age. She has studied singing since the age of eight, as well as piano, guitar, ballet, rhythmic gymnastics, and urban dance, developing a versatile foundation across multiple disciplines.

Outside of the arts, Ava enjoys surfing, tennis, and horse riding, activities that keep her active, focused, and connected to nature.
