Biography

Paul Sean Ward started performing in community theatre at the age of 10. While it initially started as a hobby, even at a young age, Paul used acting, singing, and dancing as a catalyst for personal growth. Breathing and vocal techniques, for example, proved an effective way to manage his stutter. He also learned guitar for the role of Jesus in Bishop Gorman High School's 2011 production of the musical Godspell, which was later showcased at International Thespian Festival (ITF). After performing at ITF and experiencing the festival's "artistic village" as he called it, Paul knew that he wanted to pursue a career in acting.

After performing in various plays at the University of Nevada, Reno, Paul met a group of young filmmakers that would later form the Reno Film Collective (RFC). With RFC, Paul worked his way up to increasingly bigger film acting roles, culminating in Nick Gapp's short film Nosebleed. In 2018, he took opportunities in the Collective to branch out creatively: directing his first short, Olympia, as well as producing and editing several installments of the group's "Film Something" YouTube series.

In January 2019, Paul moved to Los Angeles, California. He continues to utilize each acting job as an opportunity to expand his perspective by learning to live as other people.
