Biography

Jari Jones, born May 18 in Newark, New Jersey , was started from an early age by her grandfather, pioneer fashion model Billy Jones, where she soared as a child actress and model. It wasn't until adulthood and self- discovery that Jari skyrocketed through both the fashion and film industry giving her the accolades of Calvin Klein's first plus trans model to not only be featured in a campaign but to be mounted on their famous SOHO billboard. She also won the eyes of the Cannes Film Festival, giving her the title of the first trans producer ever to have a competing film. From their Jari has been featured in many publications such as the cover of Paper Magazine, Teen Vogue, Allure, Nylon and the New York Times, being recognized as a change maker in fashion and beauty. She also has worked with brands such as UGG, Christian Cowan, Calvin Klein, PINK and now her newest collaboration Adidas, changing the ideas of beauty standard, demanding sustainable size inclusion ,gender and race diversity and overall empowerment for queer people of color within fashion. Jari continues to be apart of initiatives that expand, seek, and create authentic representations, within media, of marginalize people and has partnered with folks at American Foundation of Suicide Prevention, GLAAD, the NFL , Proctor & Gamble and many more, making sure that these initiatives are given the platforms they deserve.
