Adam Conversano is a queer filmmaker from Concord, North Carolina. He co-founded the production company Apple House Pictures with his brother Grant Conversano in 2020 based in Brooklyn, NY.
He is an alumnus of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts for Filmmaking and the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities for Visual Art. His films have played at the Hollyshorts Film Festival, Woodstock Film Festival, Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival, The Bolton International Film Festival, Davey Fest, NFFTY, Fantasia Film Festival, and Film Diary NYC. His work has been distributed online by NoBudge, Short of the Week. He is a recipient of the 2021 National Davey Grant for Emerging Filmmakers, In 2023 he was featured in Brooklyn Magazine's "50 Most Fascinating People in Brooklyn" and in 2024 he was a guest speaker for Duke University Creative Writing Guest Series.
