- Oh Byung-ho was born on August 30, 1924 in Musan, North Hamgyong province, Korea, Empire of Japan [now North Korea]. Oh was a director and writer, known for Geuui sowon (1958), Jogugeulo dolaoda (1963) and Jeoghuui jindallae (1970). Oh died on March 13, 1993 in P'yongyang, North Korea.
