Biography

Cynthia Hamidi is a SAG-AFTRA actress and screenwriter based in Los Angeles. She has appeared in television, film, and digital series, including the CBS crime drama FBI, the DC animated feature Legion of Super-Heroes, and the web series Golden Gai.

Cynthia earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from Loyola Marymount University and continued her training internationally at the Moscow Art Theatre School (MXAT), where she studied the Stanislavski system and ensemble-based performance.

Raised between the United States and Morocco, Cynthia brings an international perspective to her work as an artist and storyteller. She is a citizen of the Cherokee Nation and is passionate about increasing Indigenous representation in film and television.

In addition to acting, Cynthia is a screenwriter developing original film and television projects. She has been involved with the Native American Media Alliance (NAMA), which supports emerging Indigenous voices in the entertainment industry.
