Avery Black's Filipino ancestry is more than obvious. Avery has various tattoos on her beautiful body. Her stage name is inspired by the character of Jackson Avery from the Grey's Anatomy series. She added Black because she wanted a one-syllable last name. After completing her studies in 2016, she moved to Los Angeles in search of a decent life. Avery stated that one of the reasons for entering the porn world was a music video of Justin Timberlake's song Cry Me a River. She has also wanted to be part of the porn industry for a long time. Another reason for entering the industry is money. She wants to buy a dream house for her mother and make a good life for herself. She calls herself an internet nudist.
