Marwan El-Shafie

Marwan Elshafie is an Egyptian filmmaker and actor with extensive experience specializing in local and international film distribution. He was recently recognized as one of the most promising Arab talents in the field, earning a selective spot in the inaugural Cannes Makers program at the prestigious Cannes Film Market. Marwan's industry activity includes deep involvement with early-stage projects, having served as a Project Coordinator for the Cairo Film Connections at the 42nd Cairo International Film Festival. Furthermore, he is a leading voice in education, regularly presenting workshops on film marketing and distribution for institutions such as Sollywood in Saudi Arabia and the Cairo Short Film Festival in Egypt and others.
