  • Cristy Trabadass is a film director, producer, writer, and entrepreneur. She is the owner and co-founder of three South Florida production companies-Trabadass Productions, Smoke Stacks Studios, and Jumped Who Productions-where she develops and produces feature film, television, and commercial projects. A graduate of Florida State University's College of Motion Picture Arts, she is an alumna of the Sundance Ignite x Adobe Fellowship 2020, the Sundance Institute Short Film Intensive, a program dedicated to nurturing independent storytelling and new talent. In 2016, she was recognized as a YoungArts Winner in Cinematic Arts and is a member of the National Association of Latino Independent Producers.

    Her work spans independent features, television, and music videos, with credits including the narrative feature, Savage Lands (2025, post-production) executive produced by Snoop Dogg and Lenny Santiago starring Kerby Collins, the documentary short Día de Muertos in the City (2025, post-production), the narrative feature Mobking (2023), and directorial feature debut Princessa (2025). She has collaborated with HBO, Rolling Loud, and Strange Music, cementing her reputation as a bold and versatile filmmaker. Her 2017 documentary, Underground Tantrum, explored South Florida's underground music scene and premiered at the New York Hip Hop Film Festival. In 2018, her short film Habit was selected for the Sundance Institute Short Film Intensive, and her short film Baked Goods (2019) was premiered at the NALIP Latino Media Fest.
