- Prerana Barbarooah is an Indian Director, Writer, Actress and Model. She has written and directed more than 50 Documentaries, Feature Films and Short Films. Along with that she has also directed many Docu-Dramas, TV Serials, Advertisements and Music Videos. Barbarooah has earned multiple prestigious accolades, the most notable being the National Film Award (2007) from the President of India Prathibha Devisingh Patil, Certificate of Merit for Outstanding Achievement in Creativity at the Mumbai IDPA Awards (2015), Youth Cultural Talent Award (2016) from Purbanchal Tai Sahitya Sabha and Prerana Award (2022) for her contribution in Assamese Cinema.
