- Adam Marshall Present is a nonfiction filmmaker whose work meditates on the intersection of climate and environmental issues with stories of community and anthropology. His feature debut "American Dendrite" (2025), a road trip experimental documentary shot entirely on Super 8mm film, has been broadcast in syndication on PBS and screened across the United States including at the Chicago Underground Film Festival, Lighthouse International Film Festival, Green Film Festival of San Francisco, and winning the Audience Choice Award at YoFiFest Film Festival. Originally from New Jersey, he is a graduate of Northwestern University, and is pursuing his MFA in Experimental and Documentary Arts at Duke University. Adam has worked in the editorial department at New York City-based nonfiction studio Words + Pictures, and has worked with the Independent Film Alliance in Chicago to develop programming for local university film students and recent graduates.
