Biography

Troy Townsend is known for Transforming the Beautiful Game: The Clyde Best Story (2026), Football Focus (2001) and Robbie Lyle - Football Fans Under Their Skin (2020).

He was awarded the MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) in the 2024 King's New Years Honours List for his services to Diversity and Inclusion in Association Football. He is the Head of Player Engagement for Kick It Out in London, England.
