- Nikyla Boxley hails from Detroit, Michigan. She discovered her true passion for acting while in high school. She was fortunate to study under the Tony Award winning instructor, Marilyn McCormick, for three years. As a high school senior, she also joined the Reader's Theatre.
In preparation for a professional acting career, Nikyla earned admission into the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA). This was no small accomplishment, as UNCSA has been rated by "The Hollywood Reporter" as one of the Top 5 undergraduate theater programs in the country, for three consecutive years. Nikyla was chosen from hundreds of applicants for a class of 32 students.
During her time at UNCSA, Nikyla was also accepted into the British American Drama Academy (BADA) Midsummer in Oxford program, right outside of London. After graduating from UNCSA, Nikyla moved to Los Angeles, where she now resides, to live her dream.
In addition to her impressive acting skills, Nikyla also dances and sings, is SAFD certified in unarmed, knife, sword and shield, small sword and is proficient in basic acrobatics, including the worm.
