Rafaela Rocha is a director and film professional with over 12 years of experience, holding extensive credits in editing, post-production coordination, and editorial roles across more than 30 titles. Her work includes acclaimed films and series such as Neymar: The Perfect Chaos and Live to 100: Secrets of the Blue Zones for Netflix. An intuitive and creative storyteller, Rafaela has worked as an editor, assistant editor, colorist assistant, and post-production coordinator, crafting visually compelling and thought-provoking narratives. She is currently a versioning editor at Epic Games, contributing to major global titles such as Fortnite and Rocket League. Rafaela holds an O-1 nonimmigrant visa for individuals with extraordinary ability in the film and television industry. She is a member of the American Cinema Editors (ACE) and the Editors Guild (IATSE Local 700), holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication with a specialization in Radio and Television, and is the co-founder of Light Up Films, where she continues to expand her work as a director, telling her own stories with a hands-on, tenacious approach.
