Hazhir Ibrahimi

Hazhir Ibrahimi born (1992), is a Norwegian-Kurdish director from Oslo. He graduated from the Norwegian Film School with a degree in creative documentary directing in 2020. His film ''Please wait'' which screened at festivals such as Aesthetica Short Film Festival and Norwegian Documentary Film Festival, won best student documentary film at the Oslo Film Festival and Honorable mention at the Norwegian Documentary Film Festival. ''Please wait'' was also included as a part of DOKKINO event-program in 2022. Ibrahimi also won the main prize at the pitch competition Nordic Talents in 2020 for his film Carrying Baggage. Hazhir has a passion for telling stories from children's point-of-view. He has a background in both documentary film and fiction.
