Biography

Michael 'Moose' Montante is a dedicated and hard working member of the film industry for over 3 decades. (August 1988). Born and raised in Burbank, CA (Media City) March, 1962.

Starting out with S.A.G., acting/extra/background includes; 'A Tree Grows in Brooklyn' ('74), Earthquake ('74), son of actors Judd Hirsch and Bonnie Franklin in a TV mini series, 'The Law' ('75), 'Freaky Friday' with Jodie Foster ('76), 'Exorcist II: The Heretic' ('77), 'The Fitzpatricks' ('77), 'CHiPs' ('78), 'James at 16' ('78).

Then, in August of 1988, jumped into working at the B.A.D. Company (Best Auto Detailing/ Big American Dream) on automotive advertising for commercials, brochures and print ads as car prep for Lexus, Toyota, Nissan, Acura, Porsche, Jaguar, BMW, Mercedes Benz, and a few others here in the states and around the world for 24 years. Then, in 2012, moved to Shelly Ward Enterprises (SWE) doing the same car prep work, transporting, detailing and attending vehicles on stage and locations around the world.

During those years as car prep, he had acquired his SAG/AFTRA card for on camera driving and background driving. Whether a car, special equipment or a semi with his Class A & M1.

Now a Hollywood Teamster, local 399 since 2014 most commonly driving the Pursuit Systems (pursuitsystems.com) insert camera car with process trailer and tow dollies, (car or motorcycle type) for commercials, music videos, television and features.
