Jose Torres(XXXVIII)

Born and raised in New York City, Jose Torres fell in love with the idea of telling stories and helping others tell their's. He then fell in love with the "art" of movie making. Graduating from the BFA program (also known as "The Picker Program") at CCNY, Jose has has worked his way through the ranks from day-playing Boom Operator to Sound Mixer. His first feature film as a mixer was "Nueba Yol 3," the sequel to the film where he first started booming, "Nueba Yol". Jose Torres and J Train Audio Productions has been quietly building a solid reputation of professionalism and quality since 1994. Over the years, Jose has run the gambit of varying production scales: from big budget independent features to low budget shorts to "Reality TV, each time giving each production the same professional treatment and attention to detail and quality. No matter what the scale or budget, Jose Torres will treat your production with the same amount of professionalism as "The Big Boys."
