Biography

Mallika Nayak is an Indian actress who predominantly works in television shows. She was born and raised in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She graduated from D.G. Ruparel College of Science, Arts and Commerce.

She started her career as a voice-over artist. Mallika used to dub for ads, movies and radio plays in Hindi, English and Punjabi. She was the voice behind HDFC's IVR for a long time. Later, she forayed into acting with episodic roles in Savdhaan India, Fear Files and Gumrah.

This was followed by cameos in several television shows, including Balika Vadhu, Suhani Si Ek Ladki, Anamika, etc. Soon, she featured in the TV epic Mahabharat in 2013. This was followed by a series of projects, including Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya in the same year. In 2015, she featured in the Swim Team on Channel V.

In 2016, Mallika played the role of Malini Jindal in Kavach... Kali Shaktiyon Se. The versatile artist has donned several hats for various roles across different shows. In 2017, she appeared in Kya Qusoor Hai Amala Ka?

The maverick individual shot into limelight with her role as Sakshi Mathur in Colors TV's soap opera Bepannah in 2018. In the same year, she featured in Kulfi Kumar Baje Wala on Star Plus. In 2021, she played the role of Jyoti's mother in The Whistleblower before featuring as Sharada in Yeh Hai Chahatein.

Currently, she is playing the role of Manpreet Tandon in Kumkum Bhagya. Owing to her prolific credentials and an expanding portfolio of projects, Mallika has made her mark in the entertainment industry.

Besides showcasing her acting skills and artistic brilliance, she has featured in various advertisements for top brands, which include PayPal, Kalki Fashion, Tanishq, Evara and Manyavar Mohey, to name a few.
