- Korina-Anna Gougouli is a Greek- American actress. She earned Undergraduate degrees in Fine Arts from Parsons and in Politics from the New School. Parallel to her studies she attended master evening acting classes at Stella Adler Acting Studio. Her foundation, work in acting was with Peter and Elkah Schumann's "Bread and Puppet Theatre". She has played in various theatre venues some of which include, La Mama Theatre, Teatro La Tea, Theatre for the New City, Cyclorama Theatre etc.
Following, she moved to Athens, Greece to study at the National Theatre School of Greece acting Conservatoire. In Greece, her first professional theatre job was in Frank Wedekind's "Spring Awakening" Directed by Dimitris Karantzas . Since she has worked with various Theatre Directors such as, Sofia Vgenopoulou, Eva Vlassopoulou, Georgia Mavragani, Konstantinos Rigos and more.
She has participated in a myriad of film seminars in Athens and New York. Selected acting filmography are, Rebecca Lenkiewicz's "Hot Milk", Harry Lagoussis' "Novak", Federico Spiazzi's "Refuge", Yelena Popovic's "Man of God", Sonia Liza Kenterman's "Tailor" Theo Panagopoulos's "A Sealed Idea" and more. In addition to acting, she enjoys painting, martial arts and Argentinian tango dancing.
