Biography

Zaigham Hameed Butt is an entrepreneurial filmmaker with immense love for telling stories across all forms of moving image. He has diverse experience working across Film/TV, short form media and VFX. Combining his love for film and business he co-founded a multi-disciplinary studio "Soul For Screen" with presence across UK & India. Zaigham established one of the first short film production company that specialized in making and distributing shorts. Platforms such as Shorts TV, Disney +, Apple TV and Amazon Prime have distributed his shorts and Curzon theatre also hosted the premiere of his directorial short film "Baitless Hook". He then started a vertical for TV Shows/series where in they developed and pitched IPs to various OTT/TV platforms. His passion for short form led to him venturing into making commercials & music videos. Across all mediums Zaigham focuses on one thing which is the "story". As Zaigham says "Stories are what make people either buy a product or ticket to watch a film. As long as that is at the heart of a project, I am in!"
