Courtney Collins is an author, screenwriter and producer.
Her first novel, The Burial, was published in 10 countries and is being adapted as a feature film directed by Jasmin Tarasin and produced by Pure Pictures/Renegade with the support of Screen Australia.
Her second novel, Bird, was published by Hachette in 2024.
In 2017 she produced Ngukurr Story Projects, based in South East Arnhem Land, working with local Indigenous storytellers and directors to tell the story they wanted to tell, in the language they wanted to tell it in. That project resulted in 10 short films including the much-loved Lil Bois and Wanmari.
