- DQ management was established in 2003 by Kate Davis (a hugely unsuccessful actress in her own right) who was keen to bridge the gap between artist and agent, forming working partnerships whereby each actor could still feel they had control over their own career whilst remaining confident in the hard-working and supportive team behind them.
A year later, her father Peter Davis became a working partner in the agency and he now manages the day to day running of the office, including the selection of suitable clients.
The reputation of dQ has built up purely on the strength of the artists they choose to represent. Subsequently, dQ are a very selective agency who look for, not only the strongest talent, but passion, commitment, professionalism and an all-round nice person.
dQ's aim is to remain small and personal to maintain strong relationships between each individual actor. In addition , as a "boutique" agency they aim to provide Casting Directors with very specific slightly more unusual casting types. dQ now boasts clients of over 12 different nationalities.
dQ's clients work in Film, TV, Theatre, Musical Theatre and Commercials.
