Contra was born on October 23, 1989 in Istanbul, Turkey. He is an actor and producer, known for Running Errands (2021), Cold Tea (2022) and Contra: Kivilcim (2020).

Turkish rapper who became massively popular on his YouTube channel, ContravoltaMusic, earning over 420,000 subscribers. He also gained success through his Unbelievable album in 2012.

His hit "Ters Yon" racked up over ten million views and counting on YouTube alone.

He's been compared to the likes of American rapper Eminem.

He was born Cagdas Terzi in Istanbul, but is better known by his stage name Contra.

He started writing songs as early as 2002 but didn't release his debut album until 2008.
