Anshuman Chakraborty

Anshuman Chakraborty is associated with Audio-Visual world more than a decade. He had started his career as an Episode -Director Script & Screenplay Writer, while pursuing his graduation and had made 100 episodes with wide range of subjects. In the meantime he was introduced in Chitrabani's film-making course under the guidance of eminent Film-scholar Fr. Roberge and several film personalities. Then he joined E.TV Network as an Executive Producer and then set out to be an Independent Director Script & Screenplay Writer. His first fiction Mind-Moment-Motion, based on a real-life character, was widely acclaimed and selected and screened in festival circuits. His another fiction, titled The Target was selected and screened as an only regional entry in "Filmy- Sahara-Short-Film" competition. He has made several Tele-series and Short Fictions based on various issues. He is also handling different Fictional Television projects as a Script-writer-Director. He is attached with different Business Schools as a Faculty member, dept. of Media Planning & Film Promotion, responsible for preparing various Media-presentations. With P.R production he is making different short fictions with a varied subject range. The first production with P.R- Ei Taxi (A Call to Kill) already conquered festival circuits (More than 13 International Festivals) including got selected Festival de Cannes2015 Short Corner. Now he has just completed another short as a Director-Script-writer with Soumitra Chattopadhyay and Anuradha Roy, working title "...tabu apekshae theko (Oh Kolkata, once More...)
