Kody Onyiuke is an American born actor of Nigerian descent. He is best known for various roles in his TV hosting and acting career. His entrance into the entertainment industry started between 2013 & 2015 before he fully immersed himself in the industry by 2018 as an industry talent in news media, acting, and fashion. He particularly admires character development, performance technique, & expressive intricacies as an actor whether on stage or in film and TV.

Kody was born Kodilinye Nnamdi Okey Onyiuke Jr. to Chinwe and Okey Onyiuke in Denville, New Jersey. His father is a retired pharmaceutical scientist and his mother is a social worker. He has 3 younger siblings and one older half brother. His younger brother is a doctor in New Orleans and his older brother is a consultant pharmacist in New York. His younger sister is an executive accountant for a PR firm in New York while his other younger sister is a medical school student. Kody graduated high school from Delbarton School in Morristown, New Jersey and graduated college from Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. He received his Master's Degree in psychology from Pace University in Manhattan, New York. Kody was a popular student growing up and was involved in many extracurricular activities that included soccer, lacrosse, track, football, and basketball. Kody loved performing growing up and had a vibrant and raw talent for it. In college, he decided to major in psychology as well as minor in theater/film.

Kody acted in theater plays in high school and college but as modeling opportunities started his senior year of college, it led him to New York which is where he decided to intern at Tribeca Productions (co-founded by Jane Rosenthal and Robert De Niro). While completing his Master's degree program at Pace University, Kody was able to dive into the world of Hollywood in the city of Manhattan by interning for Jane Rosenthal. As Kody walked for NYFW runways and modeled for brands throughout the years, he also entered the industry as a TV host. Doing TV hosting for Bronxnet Television along with red carpet reporting for the Webby Awards, the Tribeca Film Festival and more, Kody always felt a strong connection to journalism media in his career.

Kody has worked on commercials as well as theater, TV, & film work but is more excited than ever to heavily build his repertoire to further heights as an actor in the industry. Kody is a firm believer in building who you're meant to be everyday. When you're able to experience your journey fully, you elevate your soul.

Kody grew up in Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey so he loves being near water and feels at home in nature. Whether it's hiking, being on the beach, or going for a run outside, you will always find Kody right there. Kody also loves working with community leaders and educators in championing the power of education. In addition, Kody loves to travel and has visited countries in Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas as the importance of human connection and nature intertwine for him every time he travels. He is fluent in English and Igbo (Nigeria). He currently resides in New York, New York.
